John Calvin @ 500

A. D. 2009 marks the 500th anniversary of the year of John Calvin’s birth. Not only is our church in the Calvinist tradition, but our country and culture have also been influenced heavily by Calvin’s legacy. Many Christians reference Calvin as an authority in conversation and preaching, while others utter his name with disdain.
