Not only is our church in the Calvinist tradition, but our country and culture have also been influenced heavily by Calvin’s legacy. Many Christians reference Calvin as an authority in conversation and preaching, while others utter his name with disdain. Who was this guy who still causes such strong responses after half a millenium? Whether you’re a fan, a foe, or unfamiliar with Calvin, come find out more about his life, teaching, and legacy.

Tonight, downstairs in the church, we will have a follow-up discussion on The Shack. We discussed it at the public library in January, and this second discussion will focus more on the biblical issues woven throughout the book. Please come whether or not you’ve read the book, and feel free to bring guests.
